Support Quidsmith

Quidsmith is free to play, and always will be. Every difficulty, every mode, the weekly challenge, the guides and the tutorial cost nothing and never will. Membership is an optional way to back the project, and it adds a few things that show your support and make the game your own. It changes nothing about how the game plays.

Everything that affects how the game plays is in the first row, and it is free for everyone. The rest is about keeping your progress, playing with friends and showing your support.

Member: a free account

Signing in is free and always will be. A free account saves your game to the cloud, puts your scores on the hiscores, keeps your achievements, and lets you create one challenge room for up to five players. Joining a room someone else hosts is free for anyone signed in, with no limit on how many you join.

Two ways to support

Both are annual, and both keep the game itself completely free. Prices include VAT and are what you pay at checkout, with nothing added afterwards.

Supporter · £12.99 a year

• An ad-free game. No adverts anywhere, on any device.
• A supporter badge for the tax year you join in, kept permanently even if you never renew.
• A public profile to show your support and your record: your own link and social handle, a trophy cabinet, an achievement cabinet, and your ranks across every mode.
• Challenge rooms. Create and manage private challenge rooms for a shared-seed leaderboard with friends: up to three at once, with room for 25 players in each.
• A marker on the hiscores. Your name is underlined with a coin beside it, and links to your profile, for the season you are supporting.

Patron · £24.99 a year

• Everything in Supporter, plus:
• A gift to give. Your membership includes a Supporter year to gift to a friend.
• New features first. Early access to new features, and a direct line to help shape and test them.
• A Patron badge in your trophy cabinet, and a money-bag marker beside your name on the hiscores.
• Up to ten challenge rooms at once, with room for 100 players in each.

Gift a Supporter year

Know someone who would enjoy Quidsmith? You can buy them a year of Supporter as a one-off gift for £12.99, including VAT. You do not need an account to buy one, and nothing renews, for you or for them.

• You get a code, shown straight away and emailed to you. Add their name and a short message if you like, and print it as a card.
• They redeem it with a free account and get twelve months of Supporter, along with the Supporter badge for that tax year to keep.
• Already a member? The code adds twelve months to what they already have, so it is never wasted.
• Codes last two years and can be used once. An unused gift can be refunded within fourteen days of buying it.

Patrons already have one of these to give each year. This is the same gift, for anyone who would like to give one.

How membership works

A membership runs for twelve months from the day you buy it. By default it renews once a year so your perks do not lapse, and you can cancel at any time: cancelling stops the next renewal and keeps everything you have earned, including every badge. If you would rather not have anything renew, a one-time membership is available too, for the same twelve months with no renewal.

Your badge is yours to keep forever. Cosmetic perks you own stay owned. The only things that pause if a membership lapses are the ongoing extras, such as the number of challenge rooms you can run at once and how many players they hold, and they come straight back if you rejoin. Nobody is ever removed from a room: a room above the lower limit simply stops taking new players until there is space. Nothing you have earned is ever taken away.

Refunds

If you change your mind, you can cancel within fourteen days of buying and get your money back. After that, if something has gone wrong, email hello@quidsmith.com and we will put it right. The refund policy sets out exactly when refunds are given and how to ask.
