Support Quidsmith
Quidsmith is free to play, and always will be. Every difficulty, every mode, the weekly challenge, the guides and the tutorial cost nothing and never will. Membership is an optional way to back the project, and it adds a few things that show your support and make the game your own. It changes nothing about how the game plays.
Never pay-to-win, and never pay-to-play. Money never buys a better score, an easier run, more attempts, or any advantage on the hiscores. It buys a badge, a profile, an ad-free game and friend rooms. The boards mean something precisely because you cannot buy your way up them.
Two ways to support
Both are annual, and both keep the game itself completely free. Prices are shown in pounds and are what you pay; any tax due is calculated and shown at checkout, handled by our payments provider.
Supporter · £12 a year
- An ad-free game. No adverts anywhere, on any device.
- A supporter badge for the tax year you join in, kept permanently even if you never renew.
- A public profile to show your support and your record: your own link and social handle, a trophy cabinet, an achievement cabinet, and your ranks across every mode.
- Friend rooms. Create and manage private challenge rooms for a shared-seed leaderboard with friends (up to five at once).
- A marker on the hiscores. Your name is underlined with a coin beside it, and links to your profile, for the season you are supporting.
Premium Supporter · £25 a year
- Everything in Supporter, plus:
- A gift to give. Your membership includes a Supporter year to gift to a friend.
- New features first. Early access to new features, and a direct line to help shape and test them.
- A premium badge in your trophy cabinet, and a money-bag marker beside your name on the hiscores.
- Up to ten friend rooms at once.
How membership works
A membership runs for twelve months from the day you buy it. By default it renews once a year so your perks do not lapse, and you can cancel at any time: cancelling stops the next renewal and keeps everything you have earned, including every badge. If you would rather not have anything renew, a one-time membership is available too, for the same twelve months with no renewal.
Your badge is yours to keep forever. Cosmetic perks you own stay owned. The only things that pause if a membership lapses are the ongoing extras, such as the number of friend rooms you can run at once, and they come straight back if you rejoin. Nothing you have earned is ever taken away.
Refunds
Because membership gives you access straight away, the usual fourteen-day cancellation right for digital purchases ends once your access begins, which you confirm at checkout. If something has gone wrong, email hello@quidsmith.com and we will put it right. Full terms are on the terms page.
Memberships are not open for purchase just yet. This page describes what they will include. If you would like to support the project in the meantime, you can tip on Ko-fi. The game stays free either way.
